Dovepaw's Quest
Back when Dovefeather was younger she was Dovepaw. Dovepaw was very adventurous and a little too brave. Her sister, Smokepaw, was also very adventurous. One day, when she was picking ticks and fleas out of elders, she asked Whitetail, "Are there any clans out there besides the clans that everybody knows about?" Whitetail smiled then replied, "That's a very interesting question. Yes, there is a clan far, far away from here called SeaClan." Dovepaw was shocked. She thought, "That sounds like a fun place." She asked Whitetail, "What are they like? How many moons does it take to get there?" Whitetail mewed, " Oh my! I don't know much about those cats! The only thing I know about them is that they live next to the sun-drown place." Dovepaw had heard about some cats that once traveled there, but those cats were gone now. When Dovepaw had finished picking all of them out, she walked back to the medicine cat den. On her way to the medicine cat den, she saw Smokeapw race into the clearing and right up to the fresh kill pile with three mice and one squirrel. After she dropped them off she walked up to Dovepaw. Dovepaw meowed, "Woah! That's a lot of prey you caught!" Smokepaw mewed, "Yes! It is! Troutsplash was very proud of me." Troutsplash was Smokepaw's mentor. When Dovepaw walked in the medcine cat den, she saw that Ringtail wasn't there. She looked behind the medicine cat den in the herb/wild garlic field. She was there with Pinefur. They were chatting about usual stuff. Dovepaw still couldn't get the thought out of her head about going to SeaClan. She into the horizon and saw that it was twilight already. The sky was a peach and orange color. She decided to have some prey to eat. She saw Hollypaw and Emberpaw under the Sunrock eating. She grabbed a thrush and joined them. Hollypaw meowed, "I love how the apprentice den has a honeysuckle bush next to it." Emberpaw replied, "Yeah, I like that too." Dovepaw mewed, "So, how do you like being apprentices so far?" Hollypaw and Emberpaw both meowed at the same time, " It's great!" After Dovepaw finsihed her meal, she padded back to the medicine cat den. She saw that Ringtail had already fallen asleep. Dovepaw settled down into her nest and tried to fall asleep. She tried and tried and tried, but she still couldn't fall asleep. She decided to get up for a moment. She looked up at Silverpelt and whispered, "Is it right to go to SeaClan?" There was no reply. She settled back into her nest and fell asleep. Dovepaw woke up in her dream and found herself in a den that was a bush. She got and saw that there were rocks everywhere, but the rocks formed little dens. She saw that there was a pretty gray cat inside a den that was larger than the rest. She thought, "That is strange." She climbed on top of one of the rocks and saw beautiful blue water. She thought, " I am in SeaClan!" Then she woke up. It was dawn. She got up and stretched and saw the dawn patrol race past the medicine cat den. She still thought, "I need to go to SeaClan." She saw that Ringtail was starting to stir. Ringtail sat up and meowed, " Good morning!" Dovepaw mewed back, "I need to go make dirt." Ringtail replied, " Okay." Dovepaw thought, I don't need to make dirt, but I need to see if there is a secret exit from the dirt place. She walked in and saw that there was a little hole in one of the bushes. It was just big enough to squeeze into. She squeezed out and heard a whisper in her ear, " I am Seastar. I will help you find your way to SeaClan." She asked, "Is it really far?" Seastar replied, " If you know your way there and your a fast walker then you should be there by twilight." Dovepaw was overjoyed. She was very excited that she could arrive there that quickly. She walked and walked and walked and found nothing interesting. She looked up and saw that it was sunhigh. She was starving. She hunted a mouse for herself and ate it. She asked out loud, "Am I half way there Seastar?" She heard a whsiper in her ear that said yes. Again, She walked and walked and walked and saw a twoleg house. She saw that there were twoleg kits playing on some weird tube like thing and going down it. She ignored them and then heard one squeal. It was coming towards her! The twoleg kit picked her up and threw her down the tube thing! She heard them squeal with delight, as she rode down. She wasn't that bad until she reached the bottom. It was painful to plop down on the hard surface. She raced off and found that there were more twolegs ahead. They were siting down, eating food. Next to that, there was a building with a twoleg handing out food to other twolegs. A little bit further down the path, she saw rocks and then she saw a gray cat on top of a large rock den just like in her dream. The cat meowed to her, "Welcome Dovepaw! You have traveled a long way from SunClan, but it was worth it to experience SeaClan." She saw that the sun was going down into the pretty blue water and twilight was approaching. She asked, "Is there any place for me to sleep?" Seastar replied, "Yes." and guided her to her to Seastar's den. A spare nest was waiting for her. It was made of feathers instead of moss. She settled into it and fell into a deep sleep. She woke up in her dream and saw that all of her clanmates were running around the clearing frantically. She saw that Ringtail was calling, "Dovepaw! Dovepaw! Dovepaw!" Smokepaw was sitting under the sunrock talking to Emberpaw and Hollypaw saying, "She'll come back! Don't worry!" She saw Goldenstar bound into the clearing with Snowheart meowing to each other. Goldenstar mewed, "I wonder why she just ran off like that." Snowheart said, "Well, she is only an apprentice, so only StarClan knows!" She woke up and saw Seastar nest to her sleeping. She looked up and saw that it was moon high. She thought, "I need to return to my clan! They need me!" She ran and ran and ran and ran until it was dawn and saw SunClan territory in the horizon. She ran into the camp and into the medicine cat den and saw Ringtail with a surprised look and her face and hissed, "What in StarClan were you thinking? Just running off, carefree as a kit!" Dovepaw mewed back, " I'm sorry." Ringtail meowed, " We sent out three search parties just for you! Do you think the warriors in those search parties had nothing to do?!" Goldenstar padded into the den and mewed, " Dovepaw! Where were you?" Dovepaw didn't want her to know about her visiting SeaClan so she lied, " I went on an adventure." Goldenstar meowed, "You know there are going to be a punishment for this, right?" Dovepaw mewed, " Yes." Goldenstar mewed, " Snowheart and I discussed this and your punishment and we decided that you will not be an apprentice for one sunrise." Dovepaw hissed, "What? How?" Goldenstar replied, " You will be a kit for a day which means, your clanmates will call you Dovekit, you will stay in the nursery and you may only come out of it if you ask one of the queens." Dovepaw thought, " I think it's worth since at least I got to see SeaClan!" She was glad that Goldenstar was kind.
Caramelheart's Heartbreak
One day a beautiful amber colored she-cat padded through a clearing. The sunlight flickered gently on her pelt, a mellow breeze wafting through the fields and meadows surrounding their immense territory. Everything was quiet and peaceful. "Mama!" two excited mewls sounded nearby. Before the cat knew it, she had two excited kittens at her face, batting playfully at her ear. The she-cat laughed, her emerald green eyes glimmering like emeralds in the sun. "Ragekit, Flamekit... What are you two doing here?" Her face was warm. The two kits smiled, their eyes dimming slightly. "We saw daddy today... He was with another ca-" A flash of gold shone across the clearing as a golden Bengal she-cat pounced onto a rock, the sun creating an aura of golden light around her. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Sunrock for a clan meeting." The she's amber eyes scanned below. Her face warmed as she saw the she-cat. "Hello Caramelheart!" She called. Caramelheart smiled and meowed back. "Hi Goldenstar." She smiled gracefully. Soon the clearing was swarming with warriors, and a few kits eavesdropping from the Nursery. Goldenstar smiled. "We have many new members, which I am proud to announce. Our clan has grown tremendously, which I am proud to say." Caramelheart smiled herself. She looked at the sky, veering her attention away. Sooner than she knew, a jolting yowl alerted her senses. Her fur prickled. "Meeting dismissed! All new cats please meet with each other. We have too many enemies..." She muttered under her breath before retreating to the leader's den. "WAIT ONE SECOND!!!" a loud call demanded. A black tom swerved into the clearing, green eyes ablaze, a redish tint glowing in them. "I have something to announce," he snapped. "Shadowstrike?" Caramelheart managed to stutter. "What is it foxdung?!" he retorted viciously. She was taken aback; this was her mate speaking to her! Shadowstrike jumped onto the Sunrock, his claws unsheathed. Goldenstar hearing the commotion attempted to scrabble onto the Sunrock, but Shadowstrike lunged and made her lose her grip. Growling and hackles raised, she stood, fur fluffed. Insane laughter sounded. His now red eyes scanned the crowd, and he was continuously laughing. "I'm leaving! I am no longer in SunClan. I'm a rogue, like it or not!" he snorted and snapped. "Tell Caramelheart to deal with it because I am DONE. I don't like her, or ANY of you, or ANYONE in this ENTIRE forest, except ME. Try to find me and I will kill the kits. Got it?" He laughed madly and unsheathed long claws. He sprang at Caramelheart, slicing her cheek with blade sharp claws. The kits wailed in fear and her vision blurred with tears. Her throat was dry, and she couldn't say anything. Growling came from the crowd, angry retorts echoing around her. "If you attack the Nursery your DEAD!" "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!" "We need to protect the Nursery... That foxheart is dead to me." With a heavy weight in her chest, like a cold hard stone, she turned around. Ringtail fearfully growled, looking at her fightened. Dovefeather's mouth opened in surprise and shock. What had caused Shadowstrike's betrayal? That was a mystery to be found out later on...
Splotchfur's Secret
It was a warm, beautiful greenleaf day. Splotchedfur sat up and stretched. She saw that they were only three other cats in the warriors den, the rest had waken up. She looked up at the sky, it was almost sun high. She decided that she would go hunting. Pinefur meowed, "Want to come on a border patrol with Stripetail, Blackclaw, Lilypad, Carmelcloud, and Bronzeheart?" Splotchedfur replied, "No thanks, I want to go hunting alone." Pinefur mewed, " Okay!" Splotched fur yawned and walked out of the warriors den. She decided that the faster she hunted, the faster she would get food in her stomach. She ran across the clearing and out the exit to the camp into the open. She thought, "Hmmm… Should I hunt in the forest or the moor that is back here?" She thought that the forest would be nicer because she was better at hunting there. She ran into the forest and sat down. She heard something moving and scented a cat! She turned around and realized taht she wasn't in SunClan territory anymore. This was outside of the clans! She yowled, "Hello?" "Yes?" She turned around and saw a beautiful she-cat with amber eyes. Splotchedfur asked, "What's your name? Mine is Splotchedfur." "Mine is Flower That Blooms at Twilight. Splotchedfur is an odd name." THIS STORY WILL BE LONGER LATER, SORRY ABOUT THE WAIT
