Sunclan Training Hollow
Hello there, youngsters! I am Pinefur, your mentor for today. We have a total of 51 battle moves to go
over and also, for each battle move there is a defense to block it. Remember, this is no laughing
matter. If you were in a real battle, you'd have to use all of these moves against an enemy. No
practical jokes or shenanigans. ( Also viewers, if you have a battle move tell me your idea, and I
might feature your warrior cat name in a battle move. Examples are Pinefur Cannonball ( I did that
one), The Blackclaw Neck Grab, and The Cherryblossom Roll. Feel free to tell me your ideas
anytime.) Now, lets get to the battle moves... We have a lot of training to do... Remember, no
unsheathed claws during training, and no hurting other apprentices on purpose.

BATTLE MOVES
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Lightning Strike- You quickly and strongly scratch the enemy, allowing you to stun them for a second or two, and in that time, attack them.
2. Blackclaw Neck Grab- As an enemy advances, you leap towards them and wrap your paws around their neck. Remember, claws unsheathed, and also, remember that they can use a lot of moves on you while you do that.
3. Solar Flare- When facing an enemy, climb up a tree and, with your back to the sun, leap off of the tree, into the air, and then land on top of them.
4. Silent Ray- Quietly sneak up behind an enemy if a clanmate is in need and suprise them. In the time they turn around, attack them.
5. Surrounding Sun- Get several clanmates to help you with this. Surround the enemy with your clanmates and you will be able to attack from all sides, just like how in a field you have sun all around you.
6. Back Leap- * This move is good with small cats facing opponents larger than them* Leap onto the enemy's back and then, when the enemy tries to shake you off or crush you, slip under their belly and rake the opponent.
7. Playing Dead- If you are facing a very tough opponent go limp under the enemy's grip and when they start releasing their grip, leap up and jump on top of their head and then jump off again. Then land behind them and attack from behind.
8. Pinefur Cannonball- While in a tree, leap out of the tree, roll into a ball while in midair, and then finally come crashing onto their head.
9. Head Slap- Quickly bring your paw down onto the enemy's head with claws sheathed.
10. Belly Rake- While pinned down, rake your enemy's belly with your back feet and kick the enemy away from you then leap onto their back.
11. Tail Yank- Grab an enemy's tail and pull as hard as you can. Wait until the enemy is screaming and then finally let them go. Probably an 80% chance they will leave the battle field.
12. Back Kick- While an enemy is behind you, kick them like a donkey and then send them flying into the air.
13. Ambush- If an enemy's clan is advancing towards your camp, hide in the bushes, then leap into battle.
14. Enemy Launch- Grab an enemy cat's scruff and launch them into the air with all the strength you have.
15. Back Throw- If an enemy is on your back, leap upwards and let your front legs come down first and then your back legs come down last.
16. Killing Bite- ( Only use this in life-threatening situations) Pin an enemy down and then aim for the throat and bite.
17. Paw Grab- While an enemy uses a basic paw attack, grab their paw and pull them towards you. I'd recommend pulling them towards another enemy or pulling them right into a tree.
18. Leg Slip- If your facing a much larger enemy, slip under their front feet and then go under their back feet. Then, from behind, use Tail Yank.
19. Cat Hurl- While facing an enemy, slip under their legs and then push up on the enemy's belly. Make them land on the ground belly-up but beware: The enemy can use Belly Rake.
20. Tail Trip- While an enemy runs towards you, slip to the side and put your tail in their way. By then it'll be to late to stop and then they land right on their face.
21. Circular Sun- While facing a larger opponent, run in circles over and over until the enemy gets so dizzy he collides with the ground. Then get some help to defeat him.
22. Undertail Attack- Put your tail under your belly so that if an enemy wants to try to use Tail Yank against you, the enemy finds a little suprise. This move is extrememly hard to do.
23. Partner Fighting- While facing two enemy's, call for help and then fight back to back with your clanmate. Meow to your clanmate if you want to switch.
24. Slashing Triangle- Get two clanmates and then face an enemy. One cat goes in front of the enemy, one cat goes to the back leg of the enemy, and the last cat goes to the other back leg. Then scratch the enemy and when he turns to you, the other cat scratches him.
25. Cherryblossom Roll- While facing an enemy, roll backwards and on the second roll, pop upwards and knock them to the ground with claws unsheathed.
26. Back Cling- While facing an enemy, jump on top of them and cling to their back, and don't let go.
27. Backwards Jump- if an enemy is clinging to your back and won't let go, stand on two legs and roll backwards and the enemy will release his/her grip. Then use your paws to save yourself from hitting the ground and then kick your enemy in the face.
28. Sunny Swoop- If there are two trees by your enemy, ask a clanmate to help you with this. Climb up one tree, and then give your clanmate a signal to tell them you're dropping onto the enemy. When you drop onto the enemy, climb back up the tree. Remember to change the pattern you jump off the tree so the enemy knows
29. Body Crush- If an enemy's on your back, fall backwards, crushing your enemy.
30. Lion Attack- Attack an enemy clan by letting she cats attack first, and when they are tired, let the tom cats run out as a second wave, just like how a pride of lions hunt thier prey.
31. Blinding Dash- Dash towards the enemy and slash their eyes with claws sheathed. Only blind them permanentally if they are too strong, like what Yellowfang did to Brokenstar.
32. Careful Defeat- When you think you've killed an enemy, make sure by sinking your claws into they're back. If your still not sure, yank they're tail.
33. Swiping Dodge- When an enemy runs forward trying to attack, dodge and then, from behind the enemy, push them into the air with your paws.
34. Warrior Drop- Gather a bunch of clanmates and climb up trees and then give a yowl to signal the time to drop. Then fall from the tree and attack the enemy.
35. Roll on a Back- If you attack an enemy and they duck, grab the enemy's back and hold on, claws unsheathed. Then, since you should be upside down, you roll forwards and then you land behind the opponent.
36. Back Pin- Jump onto your enemy's back and force the enemy onto the ground. While their back is upwards, they can't attack nor bite you because you have their paws on the ground.
37. Crossing Slash- Slash your enemy's chest in an X formation and knock them backwards.
38. Upward Slice- While facing an enemy, slash upwards on the enemy's stomach with claws unsheathed. Then leap onto the enemy as they fall backwards.
39. The Snowheart Fling- Run towards your enemy and do a pawstand. Then, with all your weight in your front paws lash out with your back paws and fling the enemy using up your leg power. Then, when your enemy lands behind you, use Belly or Back Rake, depending on what side they land on.
40. Back Vault- While facing an enemy jump over them, land on their back, do a flip, then land facing their back.
41. Figure 4- Grab and enemy's back legs and put one leg over the other one. The pull the one covered by the other leg up and then sit on their legs so they can't move them. Then pin their front paws down.
42. Snowy Whirlwind- ( Works well for white cats) Run in circles on a snowy area and rush around the enemy and they'll be confused, since you blend in with the snow and then occasionally slash them as you pass by.
43. Sandy Whirlwind- ( Works well for sand colored cats) Run in circles around the enemy in a sandy area and they will be confused, not knowing where you are. Occasionally slash them as you rush by.
44. Side Slash- As an enemy passes, hit their side with claws unsheathed and slice their side.
45. Sun Burn- Pummel the enemy with claws sheathed and when they are done it will feel like they have sunburn.
46. Front Paw Strike - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent.
47. Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed!
48. Teeth Grip- Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold exept your claws remain free to fight.
49.Upright Lock- Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle them and regain control.
50. Jump And Pin- A simple battle move. You jump then twist around, landing on your back and then you spring to your paws.
51. Duck And Twist- This is complicated battle move. You leap backwards onto a wall, tree or an object and, with precise accuracy, rebound off the wall and land right on top of the enemy cat
52. Double Death Bite- *Only use against extremely evil or tough opponents* You wrestle an enemy to the ground and you ask a clanmate to hold them down. You're clanmate should be holding down their hind legs and you should be holding down their front legs. Then, give your clanmate a signal, and, at the same time, you bite down on the back of an enemy's neck while your clanmate bites down on the front of the enemy's neck. Extremely dishonorable and once the move has been used on you, it is very hard to escape this move.
53. The Suprising Roll- If you are brown, tortieshelled, or any color that matches your surroundings, roll into a ball, and remember to tuck in your paws, head, flatten your ears to your head, pull your tail in, and keep your legs tucked into the ball. I would do this in a bush, so if enemy cats pass, you can roll towards them and suprise them.
54. Thunderkit Chin Kick- If a larger or more experienced cat has you pinned down, quickly and suddenly roll to one side. Then, kick the enemy in the chin with your claws unsheathed.
55. Paw Clap- If an enemy has you paws together in front of you, clap your paws loudly and startle the enemy. This move surprises enemies, allowing you to attack.
56. Enemy Shake- You grab an enemy by the front legs and shake them as hard as you can from side to side. Enemies are defensless when you use this move, so it is a good battle move.
57. Screaming Yowl- If an enemy is persistent about attacking, just yowl as loud as you can and when other cats hear you, the enemy will cover their ears and a clanmate will come to your aid ( hopefully.) Also, you'll have time to attack the enemy after you yowl.
58. Backwards Fall- While facing an enemy, you quickly run behind them. Then, you run straight into their legs. This will knock them onto their back, and it will make them vulnerable to attacks.
59. Double Death Bite- If you are facing an extremely hard opponent, get a clanmate and pin the enemy down, you and your clanmate holding the enemy down. Then, at the same time, bite down hard onto the enemy's throat. Extremely hard move to get out of, and this move is very dishonorable. Only use this move if a cat threatens to kill you or is outside of the clans.
60. Fakeout- If attacked, flee and come back five minutes later. Then come back, standing by the biggest and toughest enemy warrior you can
find. Pretend you are on their side. If they attack an important cat like the leader, deputy, medicine cat, important warrior, or a good friend, attack them instead. Works very well.
61. Meteor Crash- Grab a giant rock that you can carry. Near an enemy, hurl the rock at them with all the power you have. Send it smashing into the enemy. Very effective move. Very painful for the cat that gets hit by the rock. Only use in very tough conditions when surrounded, outnumbered, threatened, or being faced by a killer/super tough opponent.
62. Slinking Sunray- If an enemy or enemy clan has imprisoned a kitten or warrior, slink to the base of their camp at night, preferably with other cats. Avoid all twigs, leaves, sticks, and mask your scent. Then slink towards wherever the imprisoned cat is and if you are black, gray, or know a good way to hide in the underbrush or shadows, sneak behind the guards and grab the kit. Remember to cover the kit's mouth for it might make a mewl. Then race quietly out of their camp and return home.
63. Chest Strike- While facing a slow or young warrior, roll forwards. When you are on your back legs, spring forwards, spin around, and then you barrel into the enemy's chest, knocking them backwards.
64. Tackling Shadow- If you are a dark colored cat ( gray, black, et.cetera) and you are in a battle in the evening, dawn, or nighttime, slink into the shadows. Remember, make sure the back of your paws touches the ground before your toes. Doing this will make you sound almost quiet, and you will look almost invisible. Sneak up behind your target and tackle them from behind.
65. Cat Wall- Get all members of the clan to stand shoulder to shoulder in a straight line. This will allow your clan to appear like an impenetrable mass of warriors. This move makes sure all enemy's can't wander into camp and hurt the kits or elders.
66. Cat Fling- If you are stuck on your back and a large warrior has you pinned down, build up all the power in your legs and kick thee enemy as hard as you can on their belly, front legs, and/or their shoulders. We wouldn't recommend doing their face or neck because your paws would be exposed to the enemy's teeth.
67. Sky Drop- If attacked by an enemy, slink out of battle and climb up a tree. Then, as an enemy warrior comes into sight, leap from the tree and wrap your paws around their muzzle so they cannot call for back up. Also a good way to hunt prey.
68. Mossclaw Ghost Leap- Whilst in a tree or under a bush or even in the open, creep up on an enemy. While doing this, keep your belly brushing against the ground while growling as softly and as deeply as you can. This will frighten the enemy, especially if your pelt is the same color as your surroundings. Then arch your back and leap, all four paws off the ground. Land squarely on their shoulders and force them down. If you can rip their ears do it, because ears will bleed a lot. Then leap off of them and smash into the tendons on their hind legs with both forepaws. This weakens them and makes them unable to stand without pain. Then call more cats to help chase of the cat. Then yowl loudly like a wraith, or a ghost. This scares other cats. ((Goldenstar approves of this move))
--------------------
So, now that we have gotten those over with, it is about time a gave you a tip or two...
- Weak spots on an enemy: Ears, nose, legs, tail, and scruff.
- Most battle moves take practice, so practice daily.
- Never underestimate a weak looking warrior, because they might just be stronger than you think...
- Remember, never, and I sure do mean NEVER face an enemy at night; at daytime SunClan is strongest.
- When training, please do not rough play because you just might hurt yourself, and also do not stress yourself too much.
Thank you for training with me!!! Hope you had a great times, and also hope you have new battle moves ready for action!!!
Sincerely, Pinefur
